How to find us
Bisley Shooting Ground, just 30 miles from central London, is situated between the Surrey towns of Woking and Guildford, with their excellent road and rail links.
Although our ground nestles in the heart of ancient Surrey heathland, we are only minutes from Brookwood Train Station and a short drive from either the A3 or M3. Bisley Shooting Ground is perfectly situated for London, Surrey and the Home Counties.
On entering The National Shooting Centre, follow the signs for Bisley Shooting Ground and continue over 7 speed bumps. Our victorian Clubhouse is on the left. what3words ///finest.offers.tried

Can Non-Members shoot at Bisley?
Yes Non-Members are more than welcome, although if you find you shoot just a couple of times a month or more, Membership will benefit you with the discounted shooting and host of other benefits.
Do I need to bring my own shotgun?
No, providing you are booked in with an instructor we will always be able to provide you with a shotgun. We have different calibre guns based on your height and build.
What should I wear?
We normally say dress as if you are going out on a country walk. We are very relaxed at Bisley and are more than happy for our clients to wear jeans, chinos etc. You will be out in the woods walking around to the different stands so sturdy footwear is advisable. We recommend that all clients wear hearing, head and eye protection
Will shooting hurt my shoulder?
Our professional instructors will always make sure that we provide you with a gun suitable to your height and build. Most men shoot with a 12 bore, ladies a 20 bore and children a 28 bore or 410. The correct gun, along with low recoil cartridges, a shoulder pad if necessary and the correct gun mounting position will all ensure you enjoy your shoot.
How many clays and cartridges do I need for a 1 hour session?
On average you will shoot approximately 100 clays and cartridges.
How far in advance do I need to book?
We recommend you book 1 or more weeks in advance.
What is the minimum age requirement?
We normally recommend a minimum age of 10 years old.
What happens if it rains?
Being an outdoor sport we do shoot in all weathers. Therefore we will continue to shoot in rain and snow. The only time we will need to stop is for lightening.
Can I still shoot if I am pregnant?
This is something you will need to discuss with your doctor.
Can I bring my dog with me?
Yes, providing your dog remains on a lead at all times and is used to the sound of gun shot.
If I store my gun with you, when can I access it?
The gun will be stored in the armoury in the Cottesloe Heath Clubhouse. Please call Reception 24 hours in advance to arrange collection. Please do remember to bring your shotgun licence with you as we cannot release the gun without seeing the original document.
How do I apply for a shotgun licence?
If you are still needing some answers to any questions please do get in touch with the team on 01483 797017.
