Gavin is a CPSA level three Coach and Senior CPSA Tutor specialising in competitive clay shooting at all levels.
After a thirty five year career as a Consultant in the Catering and Hospitality industry Gavin decided to pivot to his passion for teaching clay pigeon shooting. He approaches every lesson with a focus on; improving technique, simplification, measuring success in a fun environment.
Gavin started shooting nearly thirty years ago then qualified with the CPSA in 2003 and continued to develop to his current role of Senior Tutor for the South West Region for the CPSA. His mission is to make sure shooters at any level meet their potential. He also leads our very successful Shotgun Skills course for beginners, upcoming dates can be found on the ‘What’s On’ page.
Gavin is married to his wife Nikki and has two boys that are both competent shots. When not at work Gavin is a keen watch collector and Californian Napa fine wine enthusiast.
